YASMINE HASSAAN 

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Ms. Hassaan began her training in Toronto, Canada with Diana Jablokova-Vorps.  At the age of sixteen she was accepted into the School of American Ballet in NYC.  There she developed her Balanchine style along with her Russian technique with known teachers, including Danilava, Tumkovsky, Doubrovska, Stuart, Williams, Schorer, and Kramarevsky. 

 

Thoughout her professional career, Ms. Hassaan has toured extensively throughout Europe, the Far East, and the United States, dancing in major ballets and leading roles choreographed by George Balanchine, Edward Villella, Robert North, Frances Patrelle, Vincente Nebrate, Robert Vesak, George Tomel, Alan Tung and others.

Ms. Hassaan, known as Yasmine Bosinas professionally, has performed in many productions including Rite of Spring, Coppelia, Death of the Maiden, Scheherazade, Pas de Dix, Symphony in C, Rhapsody in Blue, American in Paris, Piganini, Entre Dos Aguas, Invitation to Dance, The Nutcracker.  Throughout her professional career she has worked with well-known artists such as Anthony Dowell, Cynthia Gregory, Fernando Bujones, Lynn Seymour, Leonid Kozlov, Bobby Blanchine, Robert North to name a few. 

While in NYC Ms Hassaan had the opportunity to study under renouned teachers like Melissa Hayden, David Howard, Finis Jhung, Wilhelm Burmann, Nancy Bielski, Marjoree Mussman, Michael Vernon, Bobby Blanchine, Evee Lynn.  During her time in NYC Ms. Hassaan also has train in Pilates for 5 years in muscle toning. Later she discover White Cloud Studio machines built and created by Mr. Juliu Horvath.  They are now currently called Gyrotonic Expansion System.  Ms Hassaan received instruction from Mr. Horvath himself then went on to become one the instructors at the White Cloud Studio.  Also under the direction of Mr. Horvath & Ms. Hilary Cartwright, Ms. Hassaan learned the Gyrokinesis yoga system.

Today, she owns a dance studio, Classical Dance Theatre, where she teaches and develops young dancers who aspire to become professional dancers.  She is a dedicated teacher who aspires to bringing discipline, hard work, respect and professionalism to the development of young dancers.
